We are a democratic voice for culture in Newcastle. We want to give everyone who lives and works here, the opportunity to have their say in shaping the cultural future of the city.
Culture is critical to the success of our local economy; it enhances our communities and neighbourhoods and it supports the wellbeing of our residents.
We believe everyone should have access to culture and the chance to experience its benefits – regardless of age, background or experience.
Our plans and ambitions fall under six key themes; inclusion, prosperity, opportunity, place, wellbeing and climate.
We want to encourage as many people as possible to join Newcastle Creates. As a member you have the opportunity to get involved in setting a city-wide strategy for culture in the city.
We will be the voice of our amazing community, we will shout up on your behalf to make change.

We work with businesses, organisations and people to deliver interventions for meaningful change.
