Joanna Chapman (she/her) is Chair of Newcastle Creates. She has worked both in the cultural sector and more recently as Managing Director in a private business.   Joanna has a wide range of interests including property, travelling, textiles, visual and performing arts.

As Chair of Newcastle Creates Joanna will provide an independent perspective, strong leadership, motivation, and enthusiasm to both the Board and all Members of the cooperative.

Working collaboratively with cultural and city stakeholders to ensure that their talents and ambitions are harnessed for the benefit of Newcastle.  She believes that dreams can come true in Newcastle and would not want to live anywhere else.
